Pushbutoon Switches
Pushbutton switches
Pushbutton switches are mechanical devices that make or break an electrical connection by the closing or opening electrical contacts or solid state circuitry when actuated by human or mechanical interaction. Pushbutton switches are selected by mounting type, switching type, contact configuration, function, color, and current and voltage ratings.
Rocker Switches
About Rocker Switches
Rocker Switches house a button for operation that can be pressed on either end like a seesaw to connect or disconnect an electrical circuit. They are often used as ON/OFF switches on the main power supplies for electronic devices.
They are usually divided into SPDT, SPDT, DPST, and DPDT. With an SPDT switch, there is no restriction to simply open and close a circuit but to instead redirect the circuit. With a DPDT(double pole, double throw) switch, there are both two circuits that are controlled by this single switch and both switches have two contacts that they switch between.
Rotary Switches
Rotary switches
Rotary switches serve as mechanical devices designed to control multiple electrical circuits through the rotation of a shaft. By manually or mechanically interacting with the switch, electrical contacts are either closed or opened, facilitating the establishment or interruption of a series of electrical connections. Rotary switches are selected by the number of positions, number of decks, poles per deck, mounting type, contact circuit configuration, throw angle, actuator type and current and voltage ratings. Some rotary switches include adjustable stops or can rotate continuously.
About Switches
Switch is a device used to control the flow of current in a circuit. By operating the switch, the circuit can be turned on or off, thereby controlling the power-on or power-off state of the electrical equipment. Switches are used in a wide variety of electrical equipment and systems, including home circuits, industrial equipment, electronic equipment, and traffic signals. There are many types of switches, including rotary switches, push button switches, rocker switches, etc.
